EDUCATORS HONORED FOR OUTSTANDING WORK IN LAW-RELATED EDUCATION

Four Teachers Furthering Understanding of the Role of Law in our Democracy

[PHOENIX, AZ] –The Arizona Bar Foundation will recognize the outstanding contributions of four Arizona K-12 educators who have promoted law related education programs in their classroom to assist youth in understanding their role in our democratic society. These teachers have inspired and educated their students about the principles of law, justice, and democracy in their classrooms through law related education programs sponsored by the Arizona Bar Foundation, including Mock Trial, We The People, Teen Court, Kids Voting Arizona, and SkillsUSA.

Award winners were selected based on nominations from their peers and colleagues and will be honored at their respective schools. Those recognized are:

John J. Ross Memorial Award for Excellence in Law-Related Education
