Ways to Support Access to Justice & Celebrate Pro Bono Week

‍Register to Judge at the

We The People Competition

Are you interested in sharing your knowledge of the legal system with Arizona youth? Volunteer to judge the We The People Competition & Showcase on January 7, 2026!

We The People: The Citizen and The Constitution State Competition is a simulated congressional hearing that provides students an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of constitutional principles and ideas while providing teachers an excellent means of assessing student learning.

Students prepare and present statements before a panel of community representatives acting as a congressional committee. Students then answer follow-up questions posed by the committee members. Judges score students on provided rubrics.

Help celebrate Pro Bono Week by supporting a statewide legal aid!

Community Legal Services, DNA People’s Legal Services and Southern Arizona Legal Aid have offices all over Arizona.  They are always looking for volunteer attorneys to host clinics, answer questions and provide direct representation.  Too busy to volunteer?  You can also meet your aspirational 50 hours goal by donating directly or through the Arizona Bar Foundation to one of these agencies.  Visit the Foundation’s Pro Bono website to find out more information and help increase access to justice in Arizona.
