District Trainings

The Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education strives to provide Arizona educators with access to quality professional development opportunities. In addition to our Law Related Education Academy we also host district trainings for the We the People and Project Citizen programs. The trainings are free and are hosted by the Foundation at a site designated by the district. Through these district trainings participants will receive the following:

  • Facilitation by experts in the field
  • Continental Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Free classroom sets of textbooks for each participant
  • Substitute reimbursement
  • Professional development hours
  • Connection to a Regional Coordinator

To be eligible for District Training the following must be provided by the requestor:

  • A guaranteed minimum of 10 participants
  • A facility conducive to small group learning
  • A time commitment-
    • One full day for We the People
    • Two full days for Project Citizen
